Do you have a poppy yet?
We are in Winter dress this week! Refer to the photo to see what that means.
For cadets who do not have a blue uniform, please wear your FTU.
Your poppy should be pinned to cover the button on your left breast pocket (in FTU, the poppy is pinned to the top of your rank slip on).
Cadets with medals should wear those instead of ribbons this week.
See you Monday!

Cadet Spotlight!
At the Saskatchewan Air Cadet League AGM this past week, FSgt Ahmed was recognized for earning his Front Seat Famil rating (he has enough flying experience to take passengers in the back seat of a glider) and was awarded the Saskatchewan Aviation Council Gliding Bursary.
Bravo Zulu FSgt Ahmed!

Another amazing cadet has reached her 19th birthday!
WO2 Agun spent 5 years as a cadet, experiencing the program as it adjusted from in-person to virtual and back again.
In 2019, she attended the Pipe Band Basic Musician Course at Rocky Mountain CTC and was awarded the Basic Pipe and Drum award of Excellence - Piper.
She was also a member of the drill team, a qualified Cadet Correspondent, and the Social Representative of our NCO Committee.
In the summer of 2021, she worked as a staff cadet for the virtual CTC.
The staff of 34 RCACS has had the privelege of watching WO2 Agun grow into an exceptional young leader and we are sad to see her go. Good luck in all your future endeavors!

Recognize these three? They have just returned from their Air Elemental Training Course held in Valcartier, Quebec! The skills learned on this course include those of an FTX with a mix of aviation. With this knowledge, our staff will continue to deliver a high quality FTX for our cadets (our next one is in June)!

Here's an inside look at our supply room!
Our supply officers have been working tirelessly to order, organize, and issue uniforms to our new cadets and have just recieved another 35 BOXES of kit. With over 50 new recruits so far, please be patient as they unpack and sort these boxes. All new and returning cadets will recieve needed uniform parts as soon as possible.

One last summer post!
Cpl Ebel travelled to Saskadet this summer to attend the 8 day Cadet Activity Program (CAP). What an amazing experience!
We are so proud of all our cadets who successfully completed summer training. Officers and seniors are meeting this evening to finalize plans for our open house.
We are excited to see all our returning and new cadets at the Open House next week!
